TWO SHALL        BE ONE FLESH Richard l. s. Gan ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:...” – Gen.1:26-28 “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” – Gen.2:7 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” – Gen.2:24 After the creation of the heavens and the earth, God created living creatures to fill the environment which He had specially created for them. He created the fishes in the seas and the birds in the air on the fifth day. And on the sixth day, He formed the animals of the earth. From the smallest to the largest, God made a pair of each species. None of the species existed alone. And God commanded them to be fruitful and multiply, and to fill the earth with their respective kinds. However, the creation of Man was different. He was first created a spirit, in the image of God, before he was formed of the dust of the ground to become a tangible living soul. But while a spirit, he was then both male and female. A spirit has no sex, it is neuter gender. God is a Spirit. And Man (Adam) was a spirit when he was first created in the image of God. (Read Genesis 1:27 and compare it with 1:26.)   KINGDOMS Notice that only the tangible things which are visible to our naked eyes are recorded in Genesis chapter 1. The animals and the plants belong to the two kingdoms of such living things. We understand that God created every living thing male and female. Individually, the animals are distinctively male and female. But it is not so with the plants. Plants are bisexual although their "male" and "female" parts are distinct from each other. Generally, the "male" part is the stamen which produces the pollen. The pollen is the "male" element which fertilizes the "female" ovule in the ovary. There is no mention in Genesis of another kingdom of living things which are invisible to our naked eyes. It is the microscopic kingdom of unicellular micro-organisms. We need the aid of a special instrument, a microscope, to see them. In type, we need a special instrument, the Holy Spirit, to help us perceive the spiritual realm of God. The microbes have no sexual parts. They are neuter gender, so to speak. Although a microbe is only a single unit of life, it has the inherent power to reproduce itself. Science terms it mitosis. This should enlighten us on the fact that there is infinite power in the One and Only Almighty Spirit of God to create and to reproduce Himself. Basically, all forms of life originated from the One Almighty God, the Great Eternal Spirit, and not from a Three-in-One God or so-called Trinity. The Thought of God was, and is, perfect. In both the invisible and the visible creations, God has demonstrated His power of perfection — perfection in harmony and order. God has set all things, invisible or visible, simple or compound, male or female, to harmonize with one another, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle which interlock perfectly with one another. God has, according to His own Will, set in order the season and the purpose for each and every living thing. Hence, when God made a visible physical body from the dust of the earth for the invisible spirit of the Man (Adam) and put him in the environment of the earth, His purpose was for Man to harmonize with the kingdoms of the earthly creatures. The physical Man had access to the realm of the spirits even while he was in the tangible world. He was, in fact, a citizen of two worlds. Man was, and still is, the central theme of God's creation in Christ Jesus. Though Man had the company of birds and animals, yet he was alone. Unlike the birds and the animals, Man was created in the image and likeness of God. None of those creatures was suitable to meet Adam's needs — spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. Adam was not a part of their kingdoms. In fact, he was charged to exercise dominion over their kingdoms. He was relegated to the low estate of the animal kingdom only after the Fall (Eccl.3:18-20). “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of the Man.” – Gen.2:21-23 The Woman was a by-product of the Man. She was created not only to meet the Man's need for companionship but also as a helper to him. Being taken from his side, she was considered his equal. (She lost that status after the Fall – Gen.3:16b.) They were jointly responsible for the fulfillment of God's commandment to Adam to “be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it” (Gen.1:28). This commandment was given to the Man while he was still in the spirit realm. Hence, the revelation clearly points to the replenishing of the earth with spiritual children of God, each being conceived and born of the Word of Life according to God's Divine Plan. Unlike the animals, Man was alone when he was formed of the dust of the ground. It was God's purpose to reveal a mystery to us. It portrayed the Oneness of Christ and His Bride (the Church) even before she was taken and separated from His side at Calvary. Before the Woman was taken and separated from Adam's side, she had been a part of Adam all the time. She was not formed of the dust of the ground as a separate entity. Of all the female creatures, she was the only one who was not an original creation. She was a by-product of Adam. She was taken from the side of Adam, and she complemented him. She was the only creature that could ever be deceived. And she was deceived! Read 1 Timothy 2:13-14. After the Woman was taken and separated from Adam's side, the Spirit caused Adam to prophesy, saying: “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” – Gen.2:23-24 Yes, though the Man and the Woman were two separate persons, they were, by their very nature, one flesh of the same substance. The Oneness of the male and the female was emphatically stated in the Prophetic Word of God (Gen.2:23-24).   ERRONEOUS TEACHINGS In 1 Timothy 4, St. Paul wrote about the apostasy that the Spirit of God had explicitly said would prevail in the latter times. Unmistakably, the descriptions match the conditions of the present time. Indeed, the deceiving spirits have appeared in full force to seduce the believers. And those believers who give heed to devilish doctrines shall depart from the true faith, “having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” There are many false doctrines and erroneous teachings being propagated by the organized traditional churches because of their carnal interpretations of the Word of God. Similarly, instead of relying on the Scriptures and the Spirit of God, many believers of the Endtime Message are making the same mistakes by trying to formulate doctrines out of the statements of William Marrion Branham, the Messenger of God to this Laodicean Age. In the process, they have given all sorts of ridiculous interpretations to his statements. Among the many ridiculous teachings, which they have ascribed to William Branham, is that Adam and Eve were originally supposed to produce their offspring by merely “speaking the word” instead of through sexual union. Therefore, according to them, when the first couple used their sexual organ for the purpose of reproduction, they sinned and fell short of the glory of God. O, what foolishness! Saints of God, do you really believe William Branham did actually teach such a ridiculous thing as that? Such unscriptural teaching could only come from those who have rejected THE SACRED SCRIPTURES as the ONE AND ONLY SUPREME AUTHORITY OF GOD'S VOICE. Instead of the Bible, they have considered the taped messages of William Branham to be "The Absolute". (This resulted in many denominational Christians and preachers accusing the man of God as a propagator of that teaching and even other erroneous doctrines propagated by the Branhamites.) The prophet, or any true servant of God, would not contradict THE WORD OF GOD which is THE URIM AND THUMMIM OF GOD. The WORD of God will only light up to confirm all true teachings. IT will not respond to any false teaching. That's the WORD TEST!  Amen! There are two versions of “no sex, but speaking life into existence” teaching that are being propagated by certain so-called ministers and believers. The first version is: Since Adam was created by the Spoken Word of God as a son of God, he had that same power to create sons and daughters from the dust of the ground by his spoken word. Adam was not supposed to have sexual intercourse with his wife for the purpose of reproduction. [Note: Several years ago in a ministers' meeting in Uganda, two Branhamites, who believed in such interpretation, confronted me with the mere statements of Bro. Branham to prove their teaching was true. Not a single verse of the Scriptures was even quoted to support their teaching. However, the Spirit of the Lord simply told me to ask them a question on the purpose of the two breasts of Eve since every member of the body has a purpose. What purpose would the mother's breasts serve if a child (eg. Abel) was spoken directly into existence? All creatures spoken into existence by the creative word of the Lord were full grown. Abel, therefore, would have no need for breast milk, if breast milk was available even without lactation which could only come just before and after a child birth.] The other version of the teaching is somewhat different from the first one. It states that all Adam needed to do was to speak the word which would become a "seed" in Eve's womb and she would be pregnant. There was no need for sex. Now, if either of these two teachings is true, then God have created spermatozoa and eggs in the male and female reproductive organs, respectively, for nothing. Such “teachings” may sound good to the ears, but they certainly don't ring the bell of The Word of God. Such concoctions would only be accepted by the make-believers who love to have their itching ears tickled by so-called “teachers” of the WORD. The true elect of God would only accept the "Thus saith the Holy Scriptures of the Lord". The prophet would not, nor could he, contradict IT, and we know that he did not.  Amen. I have said this many times in many meetings — that Bro. Branham was academically uneducated. He was a very simple man without an air of pomposity. His speech was simple without the technicality of theological words which very often are debatable. As the forerunner who was sent to forerun the Second Advent of Christ, he was a man anointed with the spirit of Elijah as John the Baptist was (fulfilling the prophecy of Malachi 4:5-6) he spoke as an Old Testament prophet. Hence, his words were certainly not for those without “an ear to hear what the Spirit said to the churches”. Therefore, take heed how you hear.   GOD'S DIVINE WILL — HIS PURPOSE & HIS WAY “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” – Eccl.3:1 In simplicity, this is God's Divine Way of regulating the whole universe which He had created. That was the original ordained plan of God. Anything which is not in harmony with the season and/or purpose ordained of God is out of the Divine Will of God. Therefore, when the act of sin was committed, it upset the Divine Plan and Purpose of God. But God, being All Powerful, had a remedy for Man's error. The Fall of Man did not take God by surprise. Through His Son, Jesus Christ, God take back to Himself something far better and glorious than that which Satan had robbed Him off. Yes, we believe it because He had even “made known unto us the Mystery of His Will, according to the good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself: that in the dispensation of the fullness of time He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him:...” (Eph.1:9-10). It is impossible for Satan to thwart God's plan. When God set His creations in the heaven and the earth, He predetermined the order of the events in their lives. Everything was created to function with timely precision to fulfill the purpose for which each was created. The heavenly bodies are timepieces which measure the precise movement of time on earth as well as the whole universe. They regulate the seasons of the earth. In its due seasons, each and every living thing shall bring forth its fruits according to the divine purpose of God. Read Job 5:26; Psalms 1:3. Thus, we see God's Divine Purpose in everything.   SEX DIVINE God had purposed in His Divine Will that all living things reproduce according to the ways and means which He had ordained for each of them. At the appointed time and season, the "male" stamen of a plant, be it a weed or a fruit tree, would produce and shed its pollens ("male" seeds). When the pollens are received by the "female" stigma, they would be carried into the ovary where fertilization of the ovules ("female" seeds) would take place. Such pollination is God's way of fertilizing the seeds of the plant for the propagation of its species. An unpollinated seed cannot reproduce itself. Neither can a "male" pollen or a "female" ovule reproduce itself. Hence, we see that sexual union between the "male" and the "female" parts is ordained of God as a necessary process for procreation. That is God's divine law of reproduction by sexual union. That's "Thus saith the Word of God". Similarly, the male and female animals must come together in sexual union in order to procreate. That is an irrefutable fact. When God commanded them to be fruitful and to multiply, they instinctively knew what to do. You would not find them staring perplexedly at the Creator. Neither would you find a male frog, or a male fish, or a male bird, or a male lion, or whatever male animal for that matter, saying to his female partner, in its animal language, thus: “Sweetheart, God said that we are to be fruitful and to multiply. Let's speak the word unto the dust of the ground (or into your womb) that we may bring forth little ones of our kind to replenish the earth.” No, they would not do that, and they did not, because they knew instinctively why they were created male and female. God gave them the instinct to know exactly what to do to bring forth little ones of their own kinds into the world. Anatomically, they were beautifully designed for each other. Amen! They also knew the due season when the seeds are ready for conception. Like the plants, no male and female animals will ever come together in sexual union before the due season for conception. Why? Because it's plainly contrary to the Creator's ordained law of reproduction by sexual union. Either the "female" seeds are not there or they are not ready for conception. You cannot have strawberries in the winter, nor can you get the cattle to breed before their due season. From the nature of the animal and plant lives, mankind should realize that they have deviated from God's original law of reproduction.   THE TWO TREES “And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.” – Gen.2:8-9 God caused every literal tree that was good for food to grow in the Garden of Eden for Adam. But the “Tree of Life” and the “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil” were not literal trees in that garden. Carnal-minded theologians had given their carnal interpretation that they were real literal trees. They have also interpreted the phrase “in the midst of the garden” as “in the middle of the Garden of Eden”. And for generations, the carnal churchgoers have foolishly accepted them as the true interpretations. God has His mysterious ways of hiding His Truth from the wise and the prudent. One of His ways is the use of various particular expressions of the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek languages in the Bible. He also used the natural things to type the spiritual. In the Bible, one can find many different usages of the words “tree”, “garden” and “eat”. Read Luke 21:29, Mark 8:24, Daniel 4:10, Proverbs 3:18, Jeremiah 31:12, Isaiah 65:3, Songs of Solomon 4-8, and Proverbs 30:20. We should understand that the two trees were not two literal trees planted in the middle of the Garden of Eden, but were only symbols of two laws that governed the sexual reproductive organ in the middle of the “garden” of the human body. The two laws were diametrically opposed to each other. The couple in the Garden of Eden had the choice to partake (eat) of either the fruit of the Law of Life (Divine Way) or the fruit of the Law of Death (Perverted Way). Life and Death were inherent in the two trees (two laws) respectively. [Throughout the Bible, the “Tree of Life” points to the Divine Source of Life — God Himself, who is the Word (Law) of Life, Holiness, Righteousness, Truth, et cetera. He is the Life of all created things, in Heaven and in Earth. And it is He Whom we must relate to.]   WOMAN WAS MADE FOR MAN When God formed him out of the dust of the ground, Adam was a tangible, physical living soul. He was no longer a spirit. He was made flesh. But, being alone, he could not reproduce himself. And God had to separate the "female" (feminine) part of the spirit from him to make a Woman for him. God had a divine purpose in doing so. The Woman was like Adam and yet wondrously unlike him. She complemented him — spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and sexually. The reproductive organ was designed for only one purpose. That was for the reproduction of children unto the Lord God Himself as a Father. Man was in the spirit realm when God gave him the commandment to “be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth” (Gen.1:28). While in the spirit form, he did not try to reproduce himself by the spoken word or any other means. He knew he would be made a little lower than the angel and be put on the earth to subdue it and to have dominion over every living thing. He was a son of God, and he understood his Father's Word that his offspring (children of God) must come by spiritual birth and not merely by the physical sexual act. SPIRITUAL BIRTH COMES BY THE CONCEPTION OF THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH IS SPIRIT AND LIFE. (As a Bible reader, you might have read Genesis 1:28 many times, but you might not have read it that way and understood it.) Hence, when Adam became a living soul in that body of dust, he was not an innocent, immature and babyish man who did not know what was going on and what he was supposed to do. He knew precisely what that commandment meant and what he was supposed to do. If Adam was supposed to use the Spoken Word to create his children from the dust of the ground, as some believe he was supposed to do, why did he not do it immediately after he became a living soul? After all, was he not a son of God? As a son of God, Adam naturally had better revelation than those so-called Endtime Bible believers whose faith is no better than those bound by religious creeds and dogmas. Even after he had named all the animals which appeared before him in pairs, he did not run wildly around the Garden of Eden to search for his female counterpart. (Remember, he was first created male and female in spirit form before he was housed in an earthly body of clay.) Although it is not explicitly recorded in the Bible, we can be certain that Adam waited for quite a while before God fashioned a bride from his side for him. Our Lord Jesus Christ was an antitype of Adam. He was on the earth for quite a while before God allowed Him to lay down his life at Calvary's Cross and fashioned a Bride from His side for Him while He slept. This is one of the many mysteries of God that was hidden in the Logos of God before the foundation of the world. The carnal-minded people are blinded to all these things. But the elect of God shall have the revelation of all the mysteries as God unfolds them in this closing hour of the Gospel Age. It is an irrefutable fact that God literally gave the Woman, whom He had taken from the side of the Man, to the Man to reproduce himself. The Woman was made for the Man to reproduce his kind. God did not make the female animals out of the male. He created a pair of each species of the animals. Each of them was an original creation. Only the Woman was a by-product of an original creation — the Man. Herein lies a mystery that God had purposed in Himself. It is the mystery of the Oneness of God and of Man. As far as the animals are concerned, the oneness is only in the flesh when the male and female come together in sexual union for the procreation of the species. Each offspring is a living testimony to the union and oneness of its parents. However, Man was created as ONE in the spirit; he was both male and female. When he became a living soul in the physical body, He was still male and female in the spirit. God had to separate the "female" element from the Man and fashion a similar body of flesh for him to reproduce himself in the ONENESS of the flesh. For this reason, the Spirit prophesied that the Man should cleave to his wife as ONE FLESH even as he was ONE, being male and female, in the SPIRIT. Similarly, Jesus Christ also came in the likeness of men and in the likeness of sinful flesh (Phil.2:7; Rom.8:3) to identify Himself as ONE with mankind in order to redeem us. And the Lord is now ONE in the Spirit with His redeemed people — the Church, His Bride. Therefore, we should realize that the practice of polygamy is contradictory to the Original Divine Will of God. God permitted polygamy only after sin had entered the human race when mankind became part and parcel of the animal kingdom.   ONE FLESH Notice what Adam said when God brought the Woman to him: “this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man” (Gen.2:23). The Woman was the "female" element that was taken out of the Man. She was made of the same substance (flesh) which Adam was made. They were then two separate persons. But watch what the Spirit said: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh” (Gen.2:24, cf. 1 Cor.6:16). The words “help meet” of Genesis 2:18 in the Hebrew imply that the woman complements the man both spiritually and anatomically. Now, how could the two be one flesh? In their offspring, of course! An offspring is a product of the flesh and blood which results from the sexual union of his or her parents. How could they be one flesh if Adam and Eve were not supposed to get together in sexual union to produce offspring of their own flesh and blood? To those who claim that they follow and have the Truth of the Message of this hour, but insist that Adam was supposed to create his offspring from the dust of the ground by his spoken word, I challenge them to give a fair and honest answer to the preceding questions. Is it recorded in the Bible that Man shall cleave to his wife and they shall be one flesh, or that Man shall speak to the dust of the ground and there shall be one flesh? My friend, be careful about how you read and understand the Bible. Do not be wise in your own conceit and mislead others by your erroneous teachings. “O, Brother Gan, we don't believe it like that.  Sex was only a secondary means. It was a means by which Adam and Eve might be tested. We believe Adam had the power of the SPOKEN WORD. As Mary believed the Spoken Word of God, the Spirit overshadowed her and caused her to conceive without sexual intercourse, so Adam was supposed to say the word which would become a seed to impregnate Eve's womb and she would conceive.” Wise in their own conceit! Nevertheless, those are all foolish words! By playing with words like that, they certainly do not know what they are saying, neither do they know the Scriptures. They are probably only good at reciting a bunch of statements of William Branham. These are the so-called "Bible believers" who are bringing a reproach upon the Message and the name of William Branham. Let's see how they would taste of their own deadly concoction. What was Mary's relationship to God? Was she God's wife? (That is what the Roman Catholics believe.) Or was she the wife of Joseph? Who spoke the Word of life? God (through His angel) or Joseph? If it was God (through His angel), don't you think He was supposed to do the same to Eve that she might conceive and produce offspring for Adam? In that case, all Adam needed to do was to laze under a tree and the job of replenishing the earth would be accomplished by God Himself. Was that the plan of God? Whether it was God or Adam that you suppose would speak the Word, the prophecy of “they shall be ONE FLESH” would be rendered ineffective. But God's Divine Word and prophecy can never fail. Moreover, that prophecy was the very key which unlocked the whole truth concerning God's original plan for the procreation of Adam's kind by sexual union between him and his woman. And it was the will of God that such union should bring forth life instead of death. Jesus came from God, and not from Joseph and Mary. It was God who created a male sperm and a female egg and, after fusing them together, planted it in the womb of Mary. The virgin birth of Jesus was necessary so that His blood might be pure and free from the original sin. How could the Son of God be born of the sexual union of human parents? Therefore, it is ridiculous to use such an example to prove your theory, my friend. [Some of you may retort that I am speaking contrary to what William Branham had taught. I can assure you that I have understood perfectly what he was getting across to the people because I took his words to the Absolute Sacred Scriptures and God gave the revelation. But, if you are one of those who merely quotes his words to build your own doctrine of something which he had never taught, you are without a proper understanding and without the foundation of the Word of God. If you do not have the mind of a prophet, you will be better off in not handling the Fire of the Word of God for you just might get burnt. May God have mercy upon you.] And by saying that sex was a secondary means you were either saying that God needed something to back Him up in case He would fail, or denying that God actually created Man male and female (Gen.1:27) and then made them man and woman that they might cleave together as ONE IN THE FLESH (Gen.2:24). In other words, you had no regard for that which God had created and purposed in His Mind. With regards to the use of the spoken word, Adam could not resort to it unless he had the revelation from God. The possibility would be in the choice of the sex of his child who would be conceived in the due season of life. Sexual union should not take place outside the due season of life. Otherwise, the Divine Law of God would be broken as such union only gratified the flesh. That was precisely what the Serpent had tempted and deceived the Woman into doing it with him. And the Woman, in turn nagged the Man to do it with her. And Mankind fell into sin.   SEXUAL DESIRE Brethren, with a group of so-called followers of the teachings of William Branham going around the world and teaching contrary to the very Truth which the Prophet-Messenger had actually taught, we cannot blame the denominational Christians for calling them Branhamites. For so they are because they believe that Bro. William Branham's every word is sacred and make doctrines out of his words and statements. And just as they believe that it was wrong for Adam and Eve to have sexual intercourse, the denominational Christians, on the other hand, do not have the revelation that the Fall of mankind was the result of sexual perversion. On one hand, there are those who know that fornication was the cause of the Fall and yet would believe that it was wrong for Adam and Eve to have sexual intercourse. And, on the other hand, there are those who do not know the real cause of the Fall and are asking, “What's wrong with Adam having sexual union with his wife, Eve, that she might conceive a child?” It was NOT the original will of God that sexual union should take place between the Man and his Woman OUTSIDE the due season of reproduction. Remember, “to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Eccl.3:1). But mankind has gotten away from God's Ordained Purpose and Season. Sexual desire for the wrong purpose — for pleasure — was the root cause of the Fall of mankind. Since then, every soul that is born into this world, whether from a moral or immoral sexual union, is born as a result of sexual desire for physical gratification instead of for procreation. [Note: It does not mean that a married couple today is not permitted to come together in physical union outside the woman's fertile period. The Original Sin, which brought about the Fall, had caused a drastic change in the total make-up of the human being — spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and physically. That was why Paul wrote that “marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge” (Heb.13:4). Please also refer to 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 on the principles for married life.] The Serpent was the most subtile of all the creatures that God had created. He was the only species who could talk. He was very much like Adam, although he was not created in the image of God as a son of God. He was Adam's servant. Somehow he yielded himself to Satan as an instrument to seduce the Woman. (Satan knew that he could not deceive Adam who was an original creation of God, but he could get to him by working on his by-product, the Woman, who was a part of Adam.) And before Adam could get to know his Woman, Satan had beaten him to it by playing on the words of God's commandment concerning the “trees”. From the dialogue in Genesis 3, we can see that both the Woman and the Serpent actually knew that the fruits of every literal fruit-bearing tree in the Garden of Eden was good for food and could be eaten. They also knew that the “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil” which was “in the midst of the garden” (of the physical body, and not the literal Garden of Eden), was forbidden. The eating of this “tree” would bear the fruit of death, as God had warned. Through the Serpent Satan worked upon the wandering mind of the Woman and played with her feelings until she gave in to his seductive motivation. These might have been the sweet words which he had spoken to the Woman: “The "tree" is good for food. Isn't it pleasant to the eyes? Taste and eat it, and see if it doesn't gratify your...urrhh...desires. God knows that you'll not die, but your eyes will be opened and you'll be as god knowing good and evil.” The Serpent spoke the “truth”, only that it was the Truth perverted. It was not the Truth of God. A twisted truth is a lie — a blatant lie. As “god” fallen mankind only has the carnal knowledge of good and evil, instead of the true godly knowledge of God. Intellectual knowledge kills whilst spiritual knowledge gives life. It was true that when Eve and Adam had partaken of the forbidden “tree”, they did not die an immediate physical death. However, death was that which separated them from the Shekinah Glory of God, the Word of Life, which sustained them. Without It they began to die, first spiritually then physically, as the curse of sin worked upon their mortal bodies. Hence, we see how Satan had gotten Eve and Adam (because he identified himself with Eve's disobedience) to act against God's Will regarding the Law of Divine Sex. In partaking the forbidden “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil”, the first couple had rejected the Divine Sex as ordained by God (in the “Tree of Life”). If the Woman had not succumbed to the Serpent's temptation and fornicated with him, but had waited for the due time and season for conception (under the commandment of The Spoken Word of God) when Adam would come in to her and know (have intimacy with) her, then their children would have been (Word-)born with eternal spiritual life. Yes, only by being intimate with God's Divine Word of Life is there eternal spiritual life (see Jhn.3:3; 1 Pet.1:23). Beloved, do not fail to hearken and walk in the Light of His Divine Word.   SEED WORD When you break One Word of the Commandment of God, you have broken His Whole Commandment. When the Woman committed fornication with the Serpent to gratify her sexual desires, she had partaken of the fruit of the forbidden “tree”. She had to face the judgement of God and be sentenced to death. However, Adam could not allow her to die; she was his "other half". As head over her, he was willing to take the blame. So, he stepped forth to identify with her sin. Adam was not deceived in his act (1 Tim.2:14). He knew what he was doing knowing full well that Eve had willingly given herself to another being. It was the same thing that our Lord Jesus Christ had done when He willingly stepped forth from glory to identify with His fallen Bride in order to redeem her. The Bride was in the cradle of this evil world that belongs to Satan. The act of the first Adam brought death upon mankind but the act of the second Man and last Adam brought back life to them. If Adam and Eve had obeyed the very commandment of God by keeping away from that forbidden “tree”, and keeping to the Life-giving “tree” according to its season of life, they would have given birth to spiritual children of the Original and Incorruptible Seed Word which God had SPOKEN — “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it...” (Gen.1:28, cf. 1 Pet.1:23). Then, there would have been no death in mankind. When Adam and Eve bypassed THE SPOKEN WORD of God, which was THE ORIGINAL SEED of God, death resulted. (Remember there was no Written Word. There was no need for the Spoken Word of God to be written down for Adam. The Word of God was given to Adam orally from the mouth of God when the Shekinah Glory came down every evening to fellowship with His children, Adam and Eve.) Moreover, if they had obeyed the Spoken Word of God, they would have produced ORIGINAL SEEDs (Spiritual Children) of God. Pure Seed could only produce Pure Seeds. But, through the Serpent, Satan had sown his Seed of Deceit in the garden of the Woman's mind. The Woman accepted that deceptive seed and had intercourse with it in her mind and conception took place in her heart.  As she thought in her heart, so was she (Prov.23:7) for the seed word of deceit manifested itself through a physical conception when she fornicated with the Serpent. It brought forth the Seed of Discrepancy — Cain, the son of the Serpent. He was a Perverted Seed. He was born as a result of Eve's sexual desire to satisfy her flesh. She was deceived into eating the fruit of that forbidden “tree”. It was a reproduction that bypassed God's Original Spoken Word. Hence, it fell short of the Glory of God, which was His Word (Rom.3:23). [Note: 1) In passing His judgment, God cursed the reproductive organ of the Woman by multiplying her sorrow and conception. It was that member of her body which was involved in the act of sin. Her equality with the Man was also stripped, and she was to be subjected to her husband (Gen.3:16). 2) Two commandments of the Lord were broken: (a) “Of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it” (Gen.2:17) — carnal sex and fornication were forbidden; and (b) “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind” (Gen.1:24) — procreation of pure species of the same kind only; hybridization forbidden.] Adam was not deceived. In order to “redeem” his wife from the wrath of God, he had to identify with her in her sin even though she belonged to another. Per se, he had no other choice but to partake of the fruit of the same forbidden “tree” which Eve had partaken. He could have put Eve away, which meant that Eve would be lost forever, and he would be without a wife. However, Adam had the revelation of the ONENESS that God had conceived in His Mind. Thus, what he did was a portrayal of Jesus Christ and His Bride (Eph.5:22-33; Col.3:19). Simply, Adam knew that he, being a part of God, would not be destroyed. For God to destroy him was tantamount to God destroying Himself. Adam also knew that God would do something to redeem him and his wife. Amen! That's revelation! Remember, Adam was not a bastard son. Unlike many so-called Bible-believers today who believe they are sons of God, but would or could not believe the Absolute Word of Truth and be corrected and chastened by It, Adam was able to hear what the Spirit had said unto him. He was truly a son of God.   CONCLUSION The Prophetic Word of Almighty God — “They (two) shall be one flesh” (Gen.2:24; Eph.5:31) — conclusively proved that SEXUAL UNION between Adam and Eve was ordained of God as the PRIMARY MEANS for the reproduction of their offspring. It was all in the plan of God. He had purposed it according to the time and season of life. All their offspring would possess eternal life had they been BORN of the WORD which God had SPOKEN. However, before the Man could appropriate the Divine Sex with his wife, the devil came along and perverted it. Through the Serpent, Carnal Sex was introduced to Eve. The devilish temptation was so strong that Eve could hardly wait for God's time and Adam's decision, and finally succumbed to it. She was so devilishly deceived that she thought she was doing the right thing when she found a willing partner in the Serpent, and fornicated with him (1 Tim.2:14). Thus, she broke the Word of God and sinned against God. When Adam hearkened to the voice of his wife, he knew full well what God had commanded him concerning the dire consequences of Carnal Sex. Intellectual and carnal knowledge are against the very Word of Life. Adam was not deceived; he was fully aware of his action when he identified with Eve's sin. He partook of the same “sex for pleasure” with his “adulterous” carnal wife. He knew that he was committing a terrible sin against God. But being the head over Eve, he was willing to take the responsibility upon himself in order to “redeem” her. Thus, he caused the Fall of mankind. However, God showed them His grace and mercy. Instead of slaying them, He shed the blood of two innocent lambs and provided them with a covering for their sins (Gen.3:21). God also prophesied the redemption of mankind by a Saviour, the Lamb of God, to be born of a woman (Gen.3:15). Hence, the Fall in the Garden of Eden caused God to conceal (hide) the “Tree of Life” — the Divine Law of INTIMATE relationship which would conceive and produce Spiritual Life — from Mankind (Gen.3: 24), and since then all men have been born after the flesh by carnal (sexual) desire. And “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom.3:23). Yes, all of us fall short of that Shekinah Glory of the Word of Life. We are all not born according to that “Tree of Life”. For this cause, the ORIGINAL SEED WORD of God in the Person of Jesus Christ was sent to mankind that they might believe Him and be born again of the Spirit and the Water of His Word. He was the Word of God — God's Divine Way, Divine Truth and Divine Life — that was prefigured by the “Tree of Life”. To possess true life, we must be born according to the Word of the “Tree of Life”. “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1 Pet.1:23). Every person who is born into this world is born of the “corruptible seed” which Eve, being deceived by Satan, received out of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. But a true child of God is born again of a seed that is incorruptible – the Word of God (that is, the Logos) – The Original Seed, The Spoken Word, that cannot be destroyed for It lives forever as the Tree of Life. There is no life outside of the WORD of God. “Ye must be born again” (Jhn.3:7) and be in Spiritual relationship with that Man called Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the Divine Word, the Divine Person whom God has provided to restore mankind back to Life again. Spiritual union with Him, the “Tree of Life” will give you eternal Life. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
